Kleptomaniac

Kleptomaniac

(Minor Unfavorable Trait)

A person with this disorder is psychologically compelled to steal things. These are generally things of little or no value, such as paper clips, small toys, pens, pencils, books, spoons, etc. They are unaware, in many cases, of performing the theft until some time later.

Kleptomania is distinguished from ordinary theft, as thieves generally steal for monetary value, desire, or associated gains and usually are aware of the value of the items. A person with kleptomania isn't necessarily contemplating the value of the items they steal, or even the theft, until they are compulsed.

If a Kleptomaniac also has Sleepwalking they may perform the action while unconscious.
