Zeitland

The country that lies to the direct east of Perdrix. Zeitland only became a unified country during the past century, prior to that there was a series of about two dozen independent little countries and city states.

It was unified by Count Orlando Von Eton, who became the first Chancellor of the Republic of Zeitland, thru highly questionable methods (bribery, blackmail, forgery, political marriages, fostering uprisings, and assassinations). It is primarily a Republic only in name, as the Chancellor holds control of most of the decision making processes in the country.

Zeitland is a growing power in the world, heavily interested in technological advancement and magic equally. It has been known to recruit scientists and magical practitioners from other parts of the world to enhance, develop and teach new concepts and ideas.

Zeitland needs to expand it's natural resources, and is seeking outside sources regularly.
