Magical Accident

(Major Favorable Trait)

A character with this trait has had, probably during initiation into a mystic path or during their apprenticeship/training, a major accident magically that has had both positive and negative features on their life.

This may have mental, physical or mystic effects on their life. It does allow the character to take mystic traits that are otherwise marked as primarily being from a mystic heritage trait. They do not necessarily have to make rhyme nor reason with the character's mystic path(s), actual heritage etc.

There is some social reaction (which varies) when dealing with other beings with mystic senses and mystic paths as echos of the accident will be sensed in the character by their special sense(s). Some characters will react negatively to such, as they may perceive the character to be magically accident prone in some ways, while others may see it as extreme risk taking or short cutting results.

This trait, obviously, can only be taken by a character with a mystic sense, and really should be only for characters that have a mystic path.
