Item Of Severe Power

A character with this trait has an artifact or relic of tremendous power and value. It has come to them thru complex means and will lead them into a complex story and fate. It may have detrimental problems, curses, dooms, enemies seeking it, quests or world shattering risks associated with it. GMs can reserve the right to not allow this trait on a character as it may mean the owner will be vital to the direction of a campaign storyline or even an entire campaign.

What it can do will be large and complex and considerably outside the ordinary. It will certainly act as a spellcasting boon for whoever owns it, adding +5 to their Spirit for effects of spells (including ranges etc) cast by them in it's vicinity. Unlike a Item Of Major Power or a Item Of Minor Power it does not have to be easily mobile.
