Fast Draw

(Dexterity Skill)

The fast draw is used to ready a weapon or device that is not currently in the hand of a character, drawing it from a holster, pocket, scabbard, sheath or other holding place on them. Unlike nearly every other skill in the system it does not itself count as an action, since it is the preperation to perform an action.

Thus one may fast draw a weapon and then use it in the same action. This can only be done once in an action.

If the attempt to use this skill fails, then they must spend their action drawing the weapon.
