Connoisseur

(Creativity Skill)

The Connoisseur skill represents an ability to discover, enjoy, be knowledgeable in, have some critical opinion/apprasil ability with, subjects of cultural and artistic value. The skill is generally refined into a specific sub-classification, such as:

*Architecture

*Clothing

*Dance Performance

*Drawings & Etchings

*Gourmet Foods

*Home Furnishings

*Jewelry

*Music

*Paintings

*Poetry

*Sculpture

*Theater

*Wine

*Writing

This does not give the skill to actually produce works in the category that the skill is taken in, but does allow the character to talk about such in an educated manner and to see the flaws, similarities, patterns, qualities and to some extent market value of such things and productions.

It is not really a knowledge skill, since much of it is a matter of forming creative opinions.

A character taking this skill takes it in a specific sub-classification, and may take it multiple times for multiple classifications. For every skill or growth point spent in a category the character gets 2 skill ranks in this skill (compared to other skills in the system).
