Blindness (Severe Unfavorable Trait)

In the society, technology level and general nature of Zamani, being Blind is a more serious condition for a character than it would be on modern Earth. It prevents access to many forms of education, occupation and interaction with the cultures of the worlds involved, just like Deaf or Mute traits do.
