Astronomy in Zamani is the study of the sun, the planets, the stars and other celestial bodies. It is not a highly advanced science at present, since it relies entirely upon ground based observatories and equipment.

The Bellarians claim that there are significant lapses and errors in the theories and observations used by local native astronomers, but are unwilling to share details or corrections or even to point at possible directions that research might take.

There are distinct members of the scientific community that believe that the Bellarians may be making claim to the existence of such lapses and errors in order to mislead them to keep them from following certain paths of inquiry that could advance technology and move the worlds into eventual exploration of space.
